Support Holt County Animal Shelter

Getting Involved

Holt County Animal Shelter is a small non-profit dog shelter in rural Nebraska. We are completely funded by donations.  Your support helps us provide care, shelter, and love to abandoned and stray dogs. We welcome volunteers to join us in making a difference in the lives of these animals.

Without your support, we wouldn't be here!

  • We are in need of dog walkers, and fetch partners. This helps burn off the energy and keeps the dogs healthy.

  • Volunteers to help support our Read and Relax Kennel Enrichment Program.

  • We always appreciate people helping us with daily chores, sign up for a shift!

  • Help with our "Honey Do List". (snow removal, mowing, repairs, hole fillers, etc. )

  • We have an Amazon wish list that we keep updated with items we're in need of.

  • PayPal Donation

  • Business Sponsorship (prize, raffle, fundraiser items and financial donations)

  • Event coordinators and volunteers, bakers, etc.
